I am a partner in Ropes & Gray’s New York office. I work primarily on patent litigations and related matters. I am also a co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and a member of the firm’s Hiring Group.
I am a New Yorker. To me, New York City’s most defining characteristic is its great diversity. Diversity of people. Diversity of thought. Diversity of race. Diversity of experience. Diversity of ethnicity. Diversity of food. Diversity of language. I live and work in New York because of this great diversity.
I can speak from experience to Ropes & Gray’s strong commitment to fostering diversity within the firm. One sign of this commitment is the existence and vitality of the Attorneys of Color Group, of which I am proud to be a member. This group provides a good mechanism for diverse attorneys at the firm to cultivate a sense of community within the firm. It also is a means for providing mentorship to diverse attorneys.
