I am a senior associate in the Corporate Department. I grew up in Cheshire, CT, swapping stories with the handful of other Chinese kids about our parents' obsession with grades and Ivy-League schools (my trump card: Dad gave me Princeton Review's "Cracking the SAT" when I was in fourth grade and tested me on the vocabulary a month later). A dozen years and many therapy sessions later, here I am as an attorney at Ropes, where I'm a member of the Attorneys of Color Group. Outside of work, I box and snowboard, two activities I took up in college while pretending not to be a nerd. Back in my heyday, I was actually a competitive amateur fighter, but now I just reminisce about my glory days to anyone who'll listen.  Now I am recently a mother and look forward to swapping baby stories when I return.
