I am a partner in Ropes & Gray's Intellectual Property Litigation group. I chose Ropes, after my clerkship on the Second Circuit, due to its unparalleled reputation in the Boston area for training excellent lawyers and litigators.
Born of Colombian immigrants, I have been impressed by the firm's strong commitment to diversity. Indeed, it has been my great pleasure to witness the development and expansion of the Attorneys of Color Group at Ropes & Gray. When I joined the firm, our entire Group could fit in a small conference room. Now, we host events that are so large that we are required to rent space off site. Beyond shear numbers, the Attorneys of Color Group has been a source of strength for me, from identifying colleagues in other practice groups to establishing lasting mentoring relationships with successful attorneys throughout the firm.
