• Corporate Department: Real Estate Group
  
  The Real Estate Group of the Corporate Department is seeking a Boston or New York based mid-level (3 to 5 years of experience) associate, with sophisticated experience including financings (both capital markets and traditional), joint ventures and support for real estate aspects of private equity transactions.
  
  
• Corporate Department: Hedge Funds Group
  
  The Hedge Funds Group of the Corporate Department is seeking a New York or Boston based mid-level associate (3-5 years of experience) to handle matters involving representation of hedge fund sponsors, advisers and investors. This associate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and negotiating documentation for hedge funds including limited partnership and limited liability company agreements, offering documents, subscription documents, trading and other compliance policies and counterparty arrangements. Ideal candidates would have a knowledge of hedge fund strategies, regulations, transactions and documentation.
  
  
• Corporate Department: Intellectual Property Transactions Group
  
  The Intellectual Property Group of the Corporate Department is seeking a Shanghai based mid-level associate. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years experience handling transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint venture transactions, collaborations, and agreement negotiations, where intellectual property and technology play a substantial or material role. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
  

• Litigation Department: Intellectual Property Group
  
  The Intellectual Property Group of the Litigation Department is seeking a mid-level (3 to 5 years of experience) associate for the Silicon Valley office, with experience in patent litigation. Candidates should have a strong focus on litigation and trial work, and should be capable of managing cases or substantial parts of cases on a day-to-day basis. Candidates should have experience taking and defending depositions and writing briefs. Candidates should have a technical background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
  
  
• Corporate Department: Finance Group
  
  The Finance Group of the Corporate Department is seeking a Tokyo based mid-level (4 to 6 years of experience) associate, with sophisticated experience in debt financing transactions. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of credit agreements, and/or bond indentures, commitment letters and term sheets, security and guarantee agreements and intercreditor and subordination agreements. Experience representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies or lenders to any of the foregoing is highly desirable.  Japanese language skills are necessary.
  
  
• Corporate Department: Securities & Public Companies Group
  
  The Securities & Public Companies Group of the Corporate Department is seeking a Hong Kong based mid-level associate. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in capital markets, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions.  In particular, candidates should have experience representing corporate issuers and major investment banks in all aspects of equity capital markets financings, and advising clients on compliance & corporate governance issues. Fluency in spoken Mandarin Chinese is required; reading and writing skills in Mandarin a strong plus. 
  
  
• Corporate Department: Private Investment Funds Group

  The Private Investment Funds Group of the Corporate Department is seeking a Shanghai based mid-level associate. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in Fund Formation, particularly forming private investment funds such as leveraged buyout funds, venture capital funds, funds of funds, credit funds, hedge funds, and/or mezzanine funds.  Preferred candidates will have familiarity with the relevant U.S. securities and investment company rules, as well as a significant amount of U.S. tax, ERISA, and industry knowledge.  Mandarin fluency is preferred. 

• Litigation Department: Antitrust Group
  
  The Antitrust Group of the Litigation Department is seeking a Washington, DC based mid-level (3 to 5 years of experience) associate, with experience working on substantive antitrust matters, including second requests issued by the antitrust enforcement agencies, CID responses, and antitrust litigation. Experience at the Federal Trade Commission or the Department of Justice is required and, in addition, experience in private practice preferred.
