The San Francisco Bay Area has long been known as a favorite place to visit and a magnificent place to live. Its weather is moderate year-round and its setting on the San Francisco Bay and Pacific Ocean is incomparable. The unique blend of culture and diversity greatly influences the broad range of food, art and lifestyle in the Bay Area.

Stanford University is a long-time firm client and home to many world famous academics. It is also a great place to wander around on a sunny day.

The Bay Area offers something for everyone - music, the arts, outdoor recreation (including some of the most spectacular hiking and biking trails in the country), wilderness areas, untamed seashore and world-renowned professional baseball, football, basketball and hockey teams. With so much to choose from, the problem may be figuring out what to do first.

The arts have flourished in the Bay Area. A world-class symphony, ballet and opera as well as innovative and progressive regional theatre all thrive. Dozens of museums and art galleries are found in and around San Francisco and Palo Alto, including the renowned San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Stanford Rodin Sculpture Garden and the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. The recently rebuilt de Young Museum, with its copper-clad walls and soaring tower, beckons visitors to Golden Gate Park. Emerging art flourishes alongside these established cultural icons.

The first museum on the West Coast devoted to 20th-century art, San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art has one of the most innovative collections in the world.

An active local music scene creates a vibe that is distinct to the Bay Area, with dozens of small music venues throughout San Francisco and surrounding cities. There are many dining options throughout the Bay Area, including nationally renowned restaurants in and around San Francisco and Palo Alto. Widely known as the birthplace of Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse and the local-sustainable-organic food movement, the Bay Area is still a place where innovation and creativity in the food industry are very much alive. The cuisine reflects the diversity of the region itself — where more people from more countries live together than nearly any other area in the world. It is an area well known for its tolerance and its celebration of differences.
